introduction
Community people are lack of leadership in doing community development, lack of knowledge of child rights and gender equality awareness. Therefore, they need the skills of conducting community development and agriculture businesses systematically. Community still requires higher living standards, weak to do market networking for local products, needs to get more income from the small and medium-sized enterprises, and requires techniques and technologies to produce from raw materials to value-added finished products.
Hence, Taung Chun Myae was founded to do the philanthropic in the community, local developments, child protection, to enhance the capabilities of potential youth from the community to become emerging youth leaders, to have more skillful women, gender equality, and to be able to support fairly when affected by the natural disaster

Location and scope of the organization
The location of the organization is at Sit Pyan Road, 4 Qtr, Loilem Township and the project area is in Loilem region.

Organization background and history
Taung Chun Myae was founded in 2017 by 30 members. The organization organized students from Loilem for leading and facilitating Saturday youth forums, planting trees, collecting trash, delivering awareness activities in collaboration with government department after the organization was formed. Starting from 2018, the organization conducted survey for child protection, delivered environmental, gender awareness training, voter education and provided bamboo handicraft training.
The organization have supported Covid-19 disease response-related activities and offered food and cleaning supplies for the quarantine center. Besides, youth from the organization have volunteered to purchase food and medical supplies for those who had been affected by the covid – 19 and staying at home patients during the third wave. Moreover, they had delivered oxygen tanks to the needed patients and volunteered in covid-19 checkpoint stations.
Taung Chun Myae implemented the development activities with the following organizations:
ALARM Myanmar, PTE : Phan Tee Eain (Creative Home), PACE, MYMFREL, SHOD, METTA Development Foundation, UNICEF, ALLIANCE MYANMAR, Our Lovely World and Hnalonehla Innmaungmae.
